Did you know that the hardest part in gaining success is changing your mindset?
From a young age, most of us are programmed to believe we can't be in the top 1%. Even if we have the skill set, the ability, the will power -- we often don't believe we can achieve it. And, because of that, we tend to fail. But, did you know that you do have the power to change your own mindset and go after what you really want? And here's how... How to Mentally Prepare for Success 1. Tell on yourself. If you're going to go for that new job or if you're looking to launch a business, tell someone about it! Telling someone what you're planning will give you a level of accountability. It will increase your likelihood of success because you know someone is watching you, waiting for you to make the moves you talked about. Share your goals, your plan of action, even your deadlines. It'll motivate you, I promise. Now, this doesn't mean to go blab to everyone. Find someone you trust, that can encourage you and cheer you on from the sidelines. 2. Focus on what is working. When you're launching a business, starting a new job, or developing a new product, there are going to be failures. It's par for the course. Don't let yourself get stuck in a failure mindset, though. No matter how many bumps you hit in the journey, process them and move on. Focus on the things that are going good, the parts of your plan that are working. Not only does this help keep you in a success mindset, but it will help you learn what to do more of. 3. Take a moment to rest. Being an entrepreneur can be exhausting. Being successful can be exhausting. Let's face it, the world can be exhausting sometimes, too. To keep your brain primed and ready for success, to keep yourself in a positive, successful mindset, you need to take a moment and just rest. Switch off your brain anyway you can. This could be a deep meditation session, going to get a massage, taking a bath, or simply binging Netflix for a few hours. Whatever let's you rest, relax, and clear your mind is your secret weapon. Don't be fooled by the social media influencers saying you have to be go, go, go all the time and that binging HeartStopper on Netflix will literally collapse your empire instantly. If your "empire" is that fragile, you had bigger worries than vegging on the couch for an afternoon. So go on, take time for yourself. You're never going to be successful if you're burned out and a mess. Digging these tips? Make sure to sign up for my email list to get more delivered right to your inbox.
